Upcoming 2-Day Workshop on Strategies Related to Natural or Human Disasters

The Industrial Research Institute (IRI) and the Centre for Innovation & Technology (CIT) are organizing a 2-Day workshop on Strategies Related to Natural or Human Disasters on October 15th and 16th, 2014. The Industrial Research Institute (IRI) and the Centre for Innovation & Technology (CIT) are organizing a 2-Day workshop on “Strategies Related to Natural or Human Disasters” on October 15th and 16th, 2014.

The workshop will host various international and local experts to discuss topics related to dealing with international disaster assistance in complex situations, identification and analysis of the various fields of risks and consequences of earth quakes and case studies and their application to the Lebanese model. It will also tackle developing building standards in Lebanon according to Eurocodes.
