HORECA 2014

IRI represented by its ELCIM and CIT centres took part in the HORECA 2013 Exhibition, through managing the "INDUSTRY LOUNGE", a concept combining the Industry consulting and managing specialists. The USAID as well as the Syndicate of Lebanese Food Industry (SLFI) were the partners in the lounge.

The teams met the Agro Food sector representatives, proposing to clients the range of consultancy services and specialized trainings offered. It was also an occasion to propose the services of the Centre for Innovation and Technology (CIT) through which industrial companies can connect with the academic sector in their quest for research and innovation support.

Moreover ELCIM managed the “Industry Presentations Lounge” which included a daily program of presentations that took place during the exhibition hours and covered various topics of interest to the Lebanese agro-food sector. These sessions witnessed interactive discussions between the participants and the speakers, the result of which a list of potential trainings based on the need of the industry could be developed
