Commercialization Tour (CT)

 The CIT at the Industrial Research Institute hosted the Commercialization Tour on November 7, 2012. This tour is organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) Technology Centre (ETC) in cooperation with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org), El Hassan Business Park (EHBP), and the Licensing Executives Society- Arab Countries (LES-AC).

The Commercialization Tour aimed at encouraging innovation and widening the opportunities of matching innovators with investors, where a number of investors coming from Lebanon and the region, such as Jordan , Saudi Arabia, and Palestine, where able to meet with entrepreneurs who presented their projects and further developments needed in them, namely in terms of investment required and commercialization opportunities.

The matchmaking showed promising results, where a number of investors where interested in further pursuing some of the projects introduced.
