CIT Issues its Second Innovation Voucher

The second Innovation Voucher issued by the Centre for Innovation and Technology was awarded to the applicant Mr. Fadi Lama on Thursday November 1st, 2012. Mr. Lama has worked on a new laser head for fiberglass and polymeric pipe profile measurement.

The CIT technical committee has found that the project provides an encouraging inventiveness level and a novel way for inspecting fiberglass pipelines on installation. After passing the evaluation rounds, the project was awarded the full voucher in order to develop a prototype such that it will become closer to the commercialization phase where fiberglass pipe factories, pipeline installation contractors and consultants overseeing installation of fiberglass pipelines can benefit from it.
